Dryrot Siding Repair

Do you have dryrot in your exterior sheathing and/or siding? This project in Morristown, TN shows an exposed mudsill where the siding was rotting away at the foundation.  Here the homeowner removed the siding and hung Dodge Hanger Top Levelers (DHTLs) along the mudsill, shown in the second photo.  He placed the long, hard to handle lap siding on the hangers by himself.  The final results are excellent.
